I currently train with various clubs around Clevedon, Portishead and Bristol, all under the supervision of Steve Hollier (running Coach), Jackie King (swim Coach)
I am currently at Gordano School Portishead, studying for my A levels in Sport, Biology and physiology I then hope to go on to do a Sports Degree at Loughborough, Cardiff, Swansea or Bath University. As this would be a specialised sports university this would be ideal for sport and triathlon, and will have the necessary support systems in place to enable me to go on and compete at elite professional.
I have raced at a number of top elite youth /
junior races around the country including races such as the Blenheim triathlon,
Eton Dorney Youth and Junior sprint event, also last year at the London ITU
World Championships in London, which led me to a place in the world final in Edmonton
Canada where I finished in a very credible 11th place and was the 3rd
GBR athlete home in the u20 race.
I have gained valuable experience racing
against top athletes from around the country and world;
and have been able to access some of the best facilities and coaches around, such as the British Triathlon Federation coach of the year and Badtri head coach Andy Bullock. Also training at Filton College with Running Endurance Coach Steve Hollier a very accomplished long distance coach for North Somerset AC, who has trained many top local runners, I have been swimming, cycling and running from a young age, my swimming taking me too many events up to a county standard, thus making triathlon a natural progression for me.
